Terms of service
Plain terms for using the Vaultman app, written from what the app does. By starting a trial or a subscription you agree to them.
The service
Vaultman LLC ("we", "Vaultman") provides the Vaultman app: a back office for a coin and bullion business — inventory, live shows, packing, marketplace connections, buying, and the books — run on a database of your own that we stand up and keep for you. The collector edition is the same app for a person's own collection.
The app connects to third-party marketplaces and services (Whatnot, eBay, Shopify, a shipping service, an email service) under your own accounts and their own terms. We do not control them and are not responsible for their availability or their decisions.
Your account
The owner of a business account is responsible for the people added under Settings > People and for what they do in the app. Keep your sign-in to yourself; tell us at once if you think it has been used by someone else.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract for the business you sign up.
The trial and billing
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. A card is put on file through Stripe when the trial starts; nothing is charged until the trial ends. Cancel before it ends and nothing is charged.
After the trial the plan renews monthly or yearly, as you chose, until you cancel. Prices are the ones shown on the pricing page on the day you subscribe; a change to a price is announced in the app before it applies to you.
Yearly plans are ten months for twelve. A yearly plan cancelled within 30 days of its charge is refunded for the unused months (see Refunds). Monthly plans run to the end of the paid month.
Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or keep your card number.
Cancelling and your data
Cancel any time from Settings > Billing. The app keeps working until the end of the period you paid for; then your copy is paused, with everything in it kept as it was for 30 days, during which you can subscribe again or export everything. After that the database is removed.
Your records are yours. Export everything (every table as CSV, photo links) is one button under Settings at any time, cancelled or not.
Acceptable use
Use the app for a lawful business. Do not try to read another business's database, overload the service, or resell access. We may suspend an account that does, with notice where we can give it.
What we promise, and what we do not
We work to keep the app available and your data safe as described on the Security page, and we fix what breaks. The app is provided as it is; we do not promise it is free of errors or fits every purpose, and we are not liable for lost profit or indirect loss. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Melt values, spot prices, guide values and market lines are informational and come from their sources as they are; they are not an offer to buy or sell and are not advice.
Changes and contact
We may change these terms; a change is dated at the foot of this page and, where it matters to you, announced in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Vaultman LLC, Dallas, Texas — support@vaultman.com.
